As Hurricane Milton approaches, Sanibel officers are taking proactive measures to ensure the safety of its personnel and the integrity of the water system. Effective at 10:00 PM on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, Sanibel officials will implement a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory for all residents.
Residents are advised to boil water for at least one minute before consumption or use for cooking, as a precaution against potential contamination. The advisory will remain in effect until officials can safely return to assess the system’s sanitary condition.
