Alabama duo Muscadine Bloodline has given fans a glimpse of what’s to come in 2025, including new music, exciting collaborations, and major performances. Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton, known for their tight harmonies and independent spirit, are continuing to build on their success.

Looking Back at 2024

In 2024, the duo joined Post Malone’s F-1Trillion tour and released their fourth album, The Coastal Plain. These milestones marked a standout year for the band.

This week, Muscadine Bloodline announced a new single featuring a surprise collaborator, set to release on Friday, January 10. In a cryptic Instagram post, the duo hinted, “Next Friday the 10th, putting out a new song, and sometimes the feature leaves the porch light on.” Fans speculate that Josh Meloy, known for his song “Porch Light,” might be the featured artist.

Two Albums Coming in 2025

In a New Year’s message, Muscadine Bloodline revealed plans to release two albums this year, starting with “Chapter 2” of The Coastal Plain. They described it as a continuation of the first album, expanding on its themes and stories.

Reflecting on their journey, they said, “Year 10. Dang, we’ve been doing this awhile now. Some days it feels like we just got started; other days, it feels like we’ve been at it forever. We’ve learned a lot, mostly through trial and error.”

Building on The Coastal Plain

The duo explained that Chapter 2 is not just a deluxe version or leftover songs. Instead, it’s a new album that complements the first. “When it came to the concept of The Coastal Plain, we couldn’t fit all the stories and ideas into just… ONE record. Rather than a deluxe edition or a collection of songs that ‘didn’t make the cut,’ we consider this an evolution of The Coastal Plain—what was left behind from the place where we spent 18 years of our lives.”

What to Expect in 2025

The band revealed that 2025 will be packed with exciting events, including:

  • A major headlining tour starting the year
  • A new album release early in 2025
  • Performances at summer festivals
  • Joining their biggest tour yet in the fall
  • A second album release by the end of the year

Muncaster and Stanton also took a moment to thank their fans. “Because of your support, we’ve been able to stay independent and do things our way. We’re having the most fun we’ve ever had.”

In late 2023, the band released The Supply Drop, a six-song vinyl-exclusive project. Fans are hopeful these tracks will appear on one of the upcoming albums.

With two new albums, a surprise collaboration, and a packed schedule, 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Muscadine Bloodline and their fans.
