Any person who enters or attempts to enter, or otherwise participates in any contest, sweepstakes, or giveaway (“Contest”) organized by MAT MEDIA GROUP d/b/a Inferno Rock Radio (the “Sponsor”) will be considered an “Entrant” and agrees to adhere to these Official General Contest Rules (“General Rules”) and the Sponsor’s final interpretations of these rules. In cases where specific rules apply to a particular Contest (“Specific Contest Rules”), those Specific Contest Rules will take precedence over these General Rules in the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency.
1. Availability of Rules: Contest rules are available Monday through Friday during regular business hours at 26381 S Tamiami Trail Unit 116, Bonita Springs, FL 34134 and on our website at www.infernorockradio.com.
2. Eligibility: To be eligible to participate, contestants must comply with all contest rules, including any restrictions on age, residency, and must not have committed any fraud or deception in entering or claiming the prize.
Employees, contractors, officers and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies, the station, and any third party prize provider(s) and/or prize fulfillment service (collectively, the “Contest Entities”); individuals employed by any other radio and televisions station; and members of the immediate families (spouse and biological, adoptive or step-parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren and siblings, and each of their respective spouses regardless of where they reside) or households (whether related or not) of any of the above individuals are not eligible to participate in the Contest or win the prize.
Eligibility Frequency Limits: The Sponsor may set limitations on how frequently an individual can be eligible to win more than one prize within a specified time period. For national sweepstakes/contests, an individual may win only once (1) every fifteen (15) days. However, the same individual may not win more than one trip to a specific event. For local sweepstakes/contests, an individual may win only once (1) every seven (7) days. An individual may not win more than three (3) times in one month. Only one (1) winner per household is permitted in any contest or sweepstakes. “Household members” shall mean people who share the same residence at least three (3) months a year.
DISCLAIMER: Online listeners to streamed broadcasts may experience a lag in transmissions due to buffering limitations. Listen to the station for the times to play and how to enter or participate in a specific contest. The dates, times, entry methods, winner selection and prizes will vary with each station giveaway, as determined by the station and as announced.
3. Tax Responsibility: Winners are solely responsible for all taxes and any other fees, including federal, state, or local income taxes, resulting from participation in the contest or receipt of the prize.
4. Winner Selection and Publicity Release: By accepting the prize, winners grant Inferno Rock Radio and its designees the right to use their name, likeness, portrait, recorded voice, and biographical material for advertising, promotional, or public relations purposes without additional compensation.
Winners will be chosen based on the contest criteria. If the contest involves answering trivia or performing tasks, the Sponsor’s decisions on answers and performance are final. Prizes may be forfeited if a winner cannot be reached or fails to claim the prize within the specified time.
Notification is considered complete upon contact through the method specified. The Sponsor is not liable for issues such as changes in contact details or unsuccessful notification attempts. If a minor is involved, their parent or guardian must provide consent.
Winners must verify their eligibility and sign a waiver to claim their prize. If the winner, or a minor’s guardian, fails to return required forms within 24 hours of notification, they may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.
Tampering and Delivery Disclaimer:
(a) The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify anyone who tampers with the website, cheats, engages in unsportsmanlike behavior, or violates the rules. Attempts to disrupt the contest or website may result in legal action. Entrants must indemnify the Sponsor against any claims or liabilities related to the contest. Automated entries are prohibited. The Sponsor is not responsible for delays or issues with delivery.
(c) The Sponsor can cancel, suspend, or modify the contest, void suspicious entries, and alter the prize awarding process if necessary. Material rule changes will be announced on-air when practical, and the Sponsor may award prizes in a fair manner if the contest is terminated.
7. Use of Personal Information:
The Sponsor will keep personal data to award prizes and verify rule compliance. This data may be shared with third parties for prize fulfillment. Personal information usage is governed by the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Opting in to receive third-party communications is optional and does not affect contest chances.
6. Release of Liability: Winners release Inferno Rock Radio, its sponsors, and their respective officers, directors, agents, parent companies, subsidiaries, and employees from any claims or causes of action arising from participation in the contest or receipt of the prize.
7. No Purchase Necessary: No purchase is necessary to participate or win in Inferno Rock Radio contests. Contests are void where prohibited by law.
9. Technical Issues: Inferno Rock Radio is not responsible for telephone system or internet failures, or any inability of entrants to participate due to technical malfunctions. We are also not responsible for lost, late, misdirected mail, or any printing errors. Mechanically reproduced or completed entries will not be accepted.
10. Winner Restrictions: Listeners are eligible to win only once every 30 days.
11. Taxes: Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to the Sponsor, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported to the IRS as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, related to prize acceptance and use not specified herein. Each winner must provide the Sponsor with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from the Sponsor in a calendar year will be issued an IRS Form 1099 reporting the value of those prizes to the IRS.
12. General Conditions: Inferno Rock Radio reserves the right to disqualify any contestant who fails to comply with these rules or acts in a manner inconsistent with the spirit of the contest.
By participating in this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Inferno Rock Radio, which are final and binding in all matters related to the contest.
